Blanchard Valley Health System

Not-for-profit regional health system in Northwest Ohio running two hospitals, 50+ physician offices, Hanco EMS, and home health and hospice services across eight counties.

Blanchard Valley Health System (BVHS) is a not-for-profit, integrated regional health system serving individuals of all ages across Northwest Ohio. Headquartered in Findlay, Ohio, the system employs more than 3,200 associates and is one of the largest employers in the area. Its network spans eight counties: Hancock, Allen, Putnam, Henry, Wood, Seneca, Wyandot and Hardin.

The system comprises Blanchard Valley Hospital and Bluffton Hospital, a physician office network of more than 50 locations providing primary and specialty care, and Hanco EMS, which operates emergency ambulance services. Clinical services extend across cardiovascular care, neurosciences, women's and children's health, orthopedics, behavioral health, oncology and surgical services, supported by imaging, laboratory, rehabilitation, home health and hospice programmes.

BVHS is one of only 45 members of the Mayo Clinic Care Network, an arrangement that allows its physicians to consult with Mayo Clinic specialists and provide patients with local access to that expertise. Roles across the system span clinical, technical and operational functions in hospitals, physician offices, emergency medical services and home-based care settings throughout the region.
