Pet Paradise
Pet Paradise runs a US network of pet resorts offering boarding, day camp, grooming, dog training and veterinary care, backed by webcams, report cards and mobile booking.
Pet Paradise operates a nationwide network of pet resorts in the United States, offering overnight boarding, resort-style day camp, professional grooming, dog training, and veterinary care through its in-house NewDay Veterinary Care clinics. The company has grown from a single resort in St. Augustine, Florida, to more than 60 locations. It was founded by Fred Goldsmith, who sought a less intimidating boarding environment for his Bichon Frise, Samantha.
Its services are designed around supervised play, exercise, socialization, comfort and individual attention, with Playtime Coordinators responsible for those activities across resorts. The company also invests in service technology: live webcams allow pet parents to watch their pets during a stay, pet report cards provide personalised updates on well-being, and a mobile-enabled platform handles reservations for boarding and other services. Grooming and training are delivered by staff developed through dedicated grooming and dog-training academies.
Team members work across resorts, veterinary clinics, grooming salons, training programmes and corporate operations. Development is structured through the Unleashed Leadership Academy and the specialist academies, with internal advancement paths into supervisory and management roles. The company states a mission to improve quality of life for pets, customers and team members, and a commitment to local communities and to clean, safe environments.
