AILAC is a coalition of seven Latin American and Caribbean countries coordinating ambitious positions on climate change in multilateral negotiations, formally established in 2012.

AILAC (Independent Association of Latin America and the Caribbean) is a coalition of seven countries from Latin America and the Caribbean that share common interests and positions on climate change. The group generates coordinated and ambitious negotiating positions, with the stated aim of contributing to balance in multilateral climate change negotiations. Its members are Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Honduras, Panama and Peru.

The association was formally constituted in December 2012, at the Conference of the Parties in Doha, Qatar, although its members had begun negotiating in a coordinated manner several years before that. Its technical work spans climate change negotiation, international climate policy, sustainable development and environmental policy, and its positions are framed to be coherent with sustainable development and environmental responsibility.

Coordination is coalition-based among member states. Collaboration is shaped by the limited capacity of individual delegations and the complexity of the negotiations in which they participate, and the association's stated vision includes responsibility to future generations.
