TE Connectivity designs and manufactures connectivity and sensor solutions for industrial technology applications. Its work spans electrical connectivity, solderless electrical connectors, sensor solutions, and connectivity and sensor engineering, applied across the automotive, aerospace, defense, medical, energy, industrial, and marine sectors.

The company dates its founding to 1941, when it created a line of solderless electrical connectors built to withstand demanding aircraft and marine environments. That original product line addressed a critical wartime need, and the business has operated for more than eight decades since.

Today TE Connectivity employs some 93,000 people and operates in approximately 140 countries. Engineers and product specialists work directly with customers on complex connectivity challenges, within an engineering-led culture oriented toward a safer, sustainable, productive, and connected future.
