Pomerleau is one of Canada's largest construction companies. Founded in 1964 in Beauce, Quebec, with five employees, the family-owned firm now employs more than 5,000 workers and reported revenue exceeding $4.8 billion in 2023. It delivers projects ranging from $1.5 million to over $1 billion across Canada and the United States, with more than 200 active project sites in Canada alone. The company's work is organised across three construction divisions - Buildings, Civil & Infrastructure, and Major Projects - covering commercial, residential, industrial, governmental, education, health and research, cultural and recreational, defence, and data-centre projects. A subsidiary, Pomerleau Capital, invests in and manages infrastructure assets in Canada and the USA. Technical areas of activity include large-scale construction, civil and infrastructure engineering, sustainable construction, construction innovation, and infrastructure asset investment and management.
