Movado Group, Inc. is a global watchmaker that designs, manufactures and distributes a portfolio of ten owned and licensed watch brands across international markets. The company was established in the early 1960s by Gedalio Grinberg, who left Cuba and built the business in the United States. It employs more than 1,300 people worldwide, is headquartered in Paramus, New Jersey, and operates manufacturing facilities in Switzerland.

The portfolio comprises five owned brands - Movado, EBEL, Concord, Olivia Burton and MVMT - and five licensed brands - Coach, HUGO BOSS, Lacoste, Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein. Movado serves as the flagship name. The company competes in the traditional watch market, valued at more than $600 billion, alongside luxury goods and fashion accessories, and sells through owned and licensed brand partnerships.

Technical work spans watchmaking, precision manufacturing, timepiece design, product design and innovation, and global brand distribution. The company describes its approach as combining innovation with artistry, precision with accessibility and tradition with forward-thinking design, with an emphasis on craftsmanship in every timepiece.

Movado Group characterises its culture as entrepreneurial and legacy-driven, rooted in its founder's perseverance and focused on building brands rather than simply distributing products.
