Hendrick Motorsports

Founded in 1984, Hendrick Motorsports runs four Chevrolet NASCAR Cup Series teams and provides advanced engineering services to the defense industry through Hendrick Technical Solutions.

Hendrick Motorsports is a professional NASCAR racing organisation founded in 1984 by Rick Hendrick and headquartered in Concord, North Carolina, on a campus one mile from Charlotte Motor Speedway. The organisation fields four full-time Chevrolet teams in the NASCAR Cup Series, with drivers Kyle Larson, Chase Elliott, William Byron and Alex Bowman. Its competition record includes a record 15 car owner championships and more than 320 points-paying race victories.

Beyond racing, the company applies its engineering capabilities to other industries. Hendrick Technical Solutions, a division of Hendrick Motorsports, provides advanced engineering services to the defence industry. Technical work spans motorsports engineering, automotive manufacturing, advanced engineering and defence engineering, drawing on the same manufacturing and development infrastructure that supports the Cup Series programme.

The Concord campus houses manufacturing facilities, a museum and a team store, bringing design, build and competition functions together in one location. The organisation describes itself as family-founded and places emphasis on a long-standing record of competitive performance.
